I'll always find my way back to you, Chapter 2.

As we ran out of the movie theater, I noticed that there were no signs of any attack anywhere. People sat in benches texting, couples were making out and the employee in the ticket booth had a bored look on his face. Everything looked peaceful enough, but we were still running. Well, not exactly running, but walking in a really hurried pace.
It came to my mind now that all the time I was inside the movie theater, I didn't even wonder about the time. As we ran outside, I noticed it was dark, the air cold and damp. People in the street were wearing sweaters and scarves, so I guessed it must have been winter. I was almost shivering with cold, but I didn't really notice with all the adrenaline rushing through my veins. Magnus's hand was still in mine as we ran. I glanced back at him and I was surprised to still see horror in his face. As shocked as I was when I saw the beast, I

The first thing I thought when I woke up was My life must really be a joke. That same instant I knew something was really wrong. Waking up in the popcorn-covered floor of a movie theater was messed up enough, but not remembering anything about my life was by far worse. The lights in the room were on, the screen blank like when the tape has run out and I was completely alone there.
Or at least I thought so until I saw a guy, sound asleep in the projection room. His chin was resting in his chest, slightly cocked to the side and his raven-black hair was a mess. He was too far away for me to properly see his face, but when I looked at him, alarms instantly went off in my head. I had that feeling when you see someone you’re sure you know but you can’t quite put together their name or from where do you know them. As I looked at this guy, I was certain as

I woke up to the noise of people walking across the room. I hadn’t really been dreaming, just sleepily remembering the events of the previous day. Well, at least this time you remember everything when you wake up, I said bitterly to myself. I didn’t want to get up, since I was really tired, but there were a lot of people in the room who couldn’t keep quiet. With a sigh of defeat I lifted the sheets off my head and lifted it from my pillow.
Next to me, Magnus was still asleep, breathing lightly. He looked younger when he was asleep, he looked more relaxed. The purple shirt he had been wearing last night was wrinkled and his shiny hair was messy. He still looked incredibly gorgeous.
People walked by without even noticing us. I remembered what Percy had said about this cabin being always full. Maybe everyone had grown accustomed to not paying attention to the

Even if all those people were around the campfire, Annabeth insisted to go to something she called The Big House. As she pointed it to us I could see it was a house, but there wasn’t really anything big about it. It was a small and old-looking, two-story house. It was painted baby blue, and even if it was dark, I could tell the paint was cracking and fading. Annabeth hurried us down the hill. I could tell she was anxious.
There was a big porch in front of the house. Annabeth told us to sit there for a while and then mumbled something about the campfire and finding someone, impatiently asked Leo to take care of us, and ran off towards the amphitheater. I awkwardly sat down next to Magnus. Leo was distractedly looking towards the campfire, his expression unreadable for the first time since I had met him. Which was about four hours ago.
TMI and PJO Crossover: An Unexpected EncounterClary was irritated for many reasons.
It could have been the fact that she was sitting alone in some dinky diner she had never heard of in her life. It might have been because the traffic across from the Empire State building was always terrible and the diner's thin glass windows did nothing to block out the symphony of honks and curses. Or maybe, she blamed it on the air conditioner she was situated under that could have been a dying animal with its continuous shuttering and snarling.
But no, her reason for feeling miserable was probably more because her boyfriend was not here, unlike what he had promised.
"Late," Clary thought bitterly. For the thousandth time, she pulled out her cell phone and checked for any new text messages. Nothing.
She snapped her phone shut and jammed it in her pocket. This was not how she had wanted to spend her afternoon. Come on, Jace. Where are you?
Outside, an angry driver snarled impatient profanities. Clary could only agree. "I hear ya, buddy," s

“They’re dead, they’re dead, they’re dead!” Isabelle repeated to herself crying, as she did every night. “THEY’RE FUCKING DEAD!” She kept sobbing until her words were barely understandable. “They’re not suffering, they’re dead.” She kept crying until, held by an also sobbing Clary, she finally fell asleep.
Every night was pretty much the same for them. They were together, but all of them felt depressingly alone. Everyone missed their families. Those of them who had lost them cried almost every day. Isabelle made herself feel better repeating to herself that her parents and Max were dead. She wanted them to be dead. She didn’t want them suffering torture and interrogation, they would be better dead. Her brother Alec didn’t even cry anymore. He spent his nights awake, lost in thoughts, as Magnus sadly
Tessa Meets Alec“You wish you understood woman.” I said, still laughing.
He gave me a really? look, “I had to put up with Camille for, what, a hundred years? You get to know someone after that long.”
I rolled my eyes and mumbled, “Just like I know how little you know about women.”
“I heard that. I didn’t only get cat-like eyes.”
“Yeah, you also got a cat’s stubbornness.”
“Now you got to go and apologize to Chairman Meow.” Magnus said, but he was chuckling.
I joined in and it was like good ol’ times. Back in 1878.
Memories started coming back and my laughing died out instantly. I’ve gone years trying to f
Tessa Meets Alec (Pt 2)Magnus's POV
Tessa, seeing how Alec is blocking the door, turns around and heads for the hallway.
I sigh. Thinking she got over that boy long ago was a mistake. I shake my head and look back to Alec. "Sorry, you remind her of someone we knew."
He raises his eyebrows. "How long ago?"
I think on this a little, the year wavering. "1878 was when she met him."
He thinks a little on this. "She's over a hundred and still looks young. Is she a warlock, like you, or-er-what is she?"
"Broken." Was all I had to say on the matter. "They tore her apart and tried to pick up the pieces."
"Oh." He said, still confused.
I stepped aside. "Do you want to come in?"
He stepped inside and went for the armchair Tessa was sitting in moments before; his favorite spot. "So. . .who is Tessa?"
"A lonely soul." I started. "She lived in New York, but went on a vacation to London to visit her brother. I, at the time, also lived in London. But when she went there, she got imprisoned by the Dark Sisters and they force
The Reckless ShadowhunterAlec paced angrily around the weapons room. It was four oclock in the morning, but he wasnt remotely tired. It had been over an hour and Jace still wasnt back. He and Clary had lagged behind was they had walked back from the party. Probably snuck off to some deserted corner to make out or something, he thought resentfully. Stupid, ignorant girl, barging in on their little group with all the problems she expected them to solve for her.
He caught is reflection in the metal blade of a sword hanging on the wall, noticing the frown that nearly permanently stayed on his face. He hadnt always been this bitter, but he knew exactly what had happened to make him change. Terror of what the Clave would do if the ever discovered his secret, and irrational jealousy of any girl Jace looked at.
Pulling his phone out of his pocket, he checked the screen. Still no calls, no messages. Something could have happened to them Demons, Forsaken, anything, and he would have no way
